Riftbound's third set, Unleashed, is on its way! Dice Addiction is hosting 2 Pre-Rift events in the first week of May- one on Saturday, May 2nd @ 12:00 pm, and a second event on Monday, May 4th @ 6:00 PM! Pre-rift kits for this event will be $30, and include a New legend, a 15-card deck to support the legend you receive, and 5 booster packs to open and create a 25-card deck with. You'll have 40 minutes to make the deck. There are a few things to keep in mind for this sealed event: Your deck will consist of up to 3 domains- the two on your legend card, and one of any domain you want. You do not have to play with the Legend you receive in the seeded pack; any legend that you pull can be your legend, or you can play with none at all. If you're playing without a legend, you can pick any 3 Domains. When it comes to your Chosen Champion, you can also play without one, or you can play with any champion you pull as long as it matches your domains. If you play without a leader or chosen champion, you can draw a card on your first turn. You can also have more than 4 copies of a card in your deck at a time. Every card that you have opened in your kit that isn't in your deck will become your sideboard, and can be switched out between rounds. This event will be best-of-1, so each player will pick from one of three battlefields randomly to play; multiple copies of battlefields or blank battlefields are allowed as well. You can also play with any signature spell, as long as it matches your colors. The best players of the event will get some extra packs as well!
Registration will open at 10:00 AM on both days and close 5 minutes before the event begins. Deck building will begin no later than ten minutes after the designated time. Each round will have a 30-minute timer.
