A week before the set is released, you can come down to Dice Addiction to crack open some packs, build a deck, and try out all the exciting new cards and mechanics in a friendly, informal tournament. Prerelease events are your first chance to play with a set, and Prerelease Packs get you in on the game! Find themed inserts, one random spindown counter, boosters, and any promo cards included in these packs. From those packs and promo cards within the prerelease kit, you will make a 40-card any-color deck. Build time will be 40 minutes, with 3 40-minute rounds afterwards. Top players for the night will receive extra packs as prize support, but everyone will receive at least 1 pack each upon completing the event. Pre-registration will begin at the beginning of January, on January 1st and will be $35 per person. Each prerelease will have a cap of 15 individuals.
