The brown dragons of Arcania are ancient creatures with remarkable powers and without any seeming interest in human affairs. The dragon Teranha is the rival of Brakish. Both live in the vast forests of Arcania, and both are old beyond remembering.
At a certain time every year as winter approaches and the leaves have fallen, Teranha begins to solidify and merge with the soil, appearing to all the world as a massive boulder. Tall and majestic in his petrified state, humans will climb him and perform eldritch rituals of renewal on his static brow.
